Welcome to the Web site of Alan S. Rome. My practice evolved over the years. I was

a Specialist in Labor Law and Negotiations when I was Chief Counsel for the State Employees Association. This involved unfair labor practices, grievances to the Vermont Labor Relations Board, and help with lobbying in the Legislature and testifying on bills.

 

Also, I have had extensive background in juvenile law and adoption matters, as I have both worked as Juvenile Defender, representing children, and as an Assistant Attorney General in Permanency Planning and Termination of Parental Rights matters.
