OUR CUSTOMERS SPEAK OUT

The staff at Amy of Denmark pride themselves on the professionalism
and attention to detail for each and every customer who walks though our doors.

Below is a sampling of comments given by our customers.

I was so impressed with the personal attention I received not only from the employees, but also from other customers who were going through the same cancer treatments I was about to be going through.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2002.  My treatments were scheduled to begin in January and I knew that my hair would be falling out as a result of the chemotherapy.  When I first began the process of purchasing a wig.  I had no idea where to begin. I went to a few local stores that were very impersonal: They carried wigs that looked like "wigs", not like real hair, and were of inferior quality which to me, was quite disappointing.

I then went to Amy of Denmark.  I was extremely pleased and surprised to see just how "real" a wig could look.  It is very obvious that you get what you pay for when buying a wig.  From my first visit there, the entire staff has been warm and friendly.  The staff has also been extremely knowledgeable and educating about the entire procedure from talking about the chemo to purchasing a wig to matters of filing an insurance claim.  I have been very pleased with the service and the quality of the wig I purchased.  Everyone thinks it's my own real hair.  When or "if" I decide to tell anyone that it's actually a wig, they are quite surprised!

Amy's is also a very nice place to visit.  It has been very comforting to me to go to a place where there are lots of other people in the same, or similar situation as myself.  Some days I end up staying there and chatting with the staff or other customers for quite a while.  I would, and have, highly recommended Amy of Denmark to anyone who is in the market to purchase a beautiful wig, regardless of his or her personal circumstance.

Due to my alopecia, my wigs have become a normal everyday part of me. From the time I wake up in the morning to the time I go to bed at night.   Without them, I feel incomplete.

Thank you Amy's for giving me "dignity"!

Amy and her staff are a ray of sun in a sea of anxiety. They make the process of chemotherapy and hair loss very tolerable.

Their humor and good natured attitude is very supportive when confronted with so much to go through.

I'm a 19-year breast cancer survivor. We lost both my grandmother and my aunt to breast cancer, so that makes me a third-generation breast cancer victim.

During my recovery period in 1984, I found Amy's. She and her staff are wonderful! They are professional, friendly, and caring. When I'm at Amy's, I receive personal attention. My input is sought about what type, color, and style of wig is best for me. I feel I have control over some part of my life. I can choose to go without a wig, but that's not me anymore.

I'm an "Amy Advocate."
