HOW I STARTED: (THE SHORT & SWEET VERSION) I grew up playing baseball and football with Kenny Mcpeek and roommates during some of college. Kenny became a trainer and I went to work for an automobile manufacturer. Kenny was currently one of the top 10 trainers in N.A, from earnings in 2002. I have always loved racing and began "pestering" Kenny in 1997 about how to own a horse. After 2 years of "pestering" I mortgaged my house, got a partner and bought my first yearling for $30,000. The yearling would later become "She's a Devil Due". This horse was a Grade 2 winner, finished 3rd in Breeders Cup at Churchill Downs and got me on ESPN for being a nominee for 2 year old filly Eclipse award. She finished with earnings of $533,820. The success of my first horse has allowed me to "jump" into the horse industry. We retired her a broodmare and our first mating was to the Legendary "Seattle Slew". What a privilege. We sold the offspring at the Keeneland 2 year old in training sale for $800,000. It was the highest price filly at the sale and 2nd in Keeneland's history for juvenile fillies. She has a foal by "Gone West", unbelievable. She was euthanized on 12-4 do to complications from numerous colic surgeries. She changed our lives. My 2nd partnership was in 2001 and currently racing as a 3 year old filly. She was purchased for $18,000 and has won $ 126,011 in 8 starts. I'm lucky! I have met and networked with many people in the industry. Much talk was about my luck and why not begin partnering people together to continue the success. WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT OUR PARTNERSHIP

1. We provide detailed financial statements, partners can see where every dollar goes
2. Weekly email updates on status of all horses (workouts, trainer comments, entry plans and other news)
3. All partnerships licensing will be done by Team Victory.
4. All thoroughbreds are selected by the industry's top agents/trainers including Mike Ryan, Kenny Mcpeek, Steve Asmussen, Eddie Kenneally.  They attend all major auctions in North America and Worldwide. Many horses are selected by private purchase as well.

TRAINING FACILITIES

   Most yearlings are sent immediately to Ocala, Florida to Another Episode farm, many are sent to one of the trainers normal prep farm (Laredo, TX, Asmussen training center). We have been prepping all the yearlings at Another Episode over 17years. As you may have noticed with Kenny's rise in the industry this has been proven to be a lethal combination. Florida and Texas provide a year round opportunity to provide the needed preparation to begin a race horses career.

All joking aside you wouldn't be viewing my website unless you were a fan of horse racing. Typically to get involved in this game you must have a passion for the animal and seeking the thrill of racing. Although, the horse industry is very high risk and should be considered for entertainment purposes also. Trust me, nothing compares to owning part of a race horse. Life truly is short and you have probably wanted to be one of those people in the paddock at a race track watching your horse get saddled and shaking hands with the jockey before they mount your horse. FINANCIAL ESTIMATES AND PROJECTIONS

• Althought it is virtually impossible to predict results in the racing business it is possible to estimate expenses. Generally, it costs between $2400-3000 a month once the horse is in full training. Up until training it costs approximately $1200-1400 a month.

• All partnerships are structured under an LLC  
• Joining this partnership should be considered for entertainment purposes.

TRAINING AND MANAGEMENT

• Partners in Team Victory are fully involved in all of the important ownership decisions.
• Many of the industries top trainers will be responsible for the care and conditioning of our horses, but the partners as a group, together with our trainer make the business decisions.
• The partnership will operate an email mailing list so that all partners will be able to communicate with each other.
• Administrative matters will be handled by the managing partner, Mike Goetz.
• All decisions will be done on a consensus style approach, majority rules if unable to agree.
• Honest and timely feedback, both good or bad
